An island wedding
This bride knew what she wanted and she asked Bron to give it a go (as most dresses Bron makes are usually one-offs). The design process involves a sketch drawn by Bron to ensure that she knows what the Bride wants.

The fabric is a heavy polyester satin. The front wrap is on the bias and pleated to one side, glass beading front and back .

The veil was the bride's mothers, and was made from very long Spanish lace. Bron was asked to shorten it, and this involved joining and reshaping one end of the old lace border, then attaching and beading one end to a hair comb.

The flower girl's dress was also made by Bron from the same fabric as the wedding gown with an overlay of shot (when the warp and weft of a fabric are two different colours) metallic and silk organza fabric to match the Bridesmaid. Glass beading was added to the front bodice and a pillow was made from the scraps.
