Grunge - for the bride
These garments were made for Bron's wedding and for her bridesmaid. The brief was to keep the cost down and absolutely no money was to be spent on buying fabric, but to only use fabric Bron had accumulated in her workshop!
The fabrics used were: the scraps from Rob's shirt (light green linen), raw slub silk, polyester organza and some "grunge" type lace (purchased in Venice when Bron was overseas in the late '80s). Bron made 2 garments for her big day -- which was an unbelievable 6 degrees celsius in Christchurch in January.
