Karmann Ghia inside

We painted the inside of the Karmann Ghia today. First was a coat of epoxy primer, then two coats of Ruby Red. This technique is called 'wet on wet' as there is only 45 minutes between priming and topcoats. I had the chance to mix up the colour myself as we wanted to make sure we had plenty of paint left for the outside that was a perfect match to the panels already painted. The paint is measured on an electronic scales machine down to a tenth of a gram (so we're basically talking to the drop!)
I also painted a few miscellaneous bits and pieces -- the rear license plate light housing, the brake calipers, the torsion bar access covers and the bumper bracket covers.
