New tyres

Picked my new tyres for the Karmann Ghia today. They're 165/65 R15 Bridgestone B381s. Got a few quotes before buying (as you do) -- from Firestone (the guys that make the tyres), first quote $142 a tyre! Second quote $128.50. Central City Tyres $115 a tyre, and finally good old Tony's Tyre Service $100 a tyre + free puncture repairs for life.
Here they are on the chassis, I have also got the backing plates and drums converted to 4-stud at the rear using left-overs from an old 70s beetle I wrecked to provide the gearbox and motor for the Kombi (see http://www.littleb.co.nz/projects.php?p_id=29)
