Air brushed artwork (Jesus built my ratrod)

Rob has been studying panel beating and auto refinishing (that's spray painting) at an SIT Autobody course. The course is three days a week, 8 - 4:30pm Wednesday to Friday. Pretty basic stuff (it's only a level 3 course...), but he is picking up some good practical skills along the way.
This week he has been doing some air brushing in preparation for finishing a panel with clear coat and learning how to polish it up to a mirror finish.
He's pretty pleased with the result which was based on a digital Photoshop tutorial he used to give to his graphic design students. It was good to see whether it could be successfully translated back into real media...
